My name is Lajos Trási, I am the Director of the Board of Albatross PLASTUNION Private Limited Company.
Please let me introduce our corporation.
Albatross PLASTUNION PCo. is a legal
successor of two successfully operating companies, Tradeplast Ltd. and
Uniplast Ltd., which is situated in Kunszentmárton, in
Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, along the Nr. 44 mainroad in Hungary.
We established the legal predecessor
companies with Lajos Szokolai in March of 1993., when we bought the 13-hectare
socialist large-scale, which as the
factroy of Beton és Vasbetonipari Művek in Kunszentmárton, had been
manufacturing different steelstructures, patterns, units and cranes of
Hungarian house and concrete-parts producers since 1968.
We kept the old activities of
BVM, and we have started a definite and appropriate developing, make stronger
the machine manufacturing activity, and as a result of this the main market
of our products is in Western-Europe, first of all in Germany.
For today we sell the 80% of our products in
Western-Europe. The output of Tradeplast Kft. had been increased for 15 times
from 1994 to 2004.
The company has supplied by excellent
infrastructure, which is due to the independent waterworks, the waste-water
cleaning plant, 1000 kW power supply, built in telephone and computer
network, furthermore is due to the road and utility network.
The company pays attention to
the continuous environment-orientated production activities, we work in ISO
9001:2000 quality system. This system is controlled by leader of quality
controll and environmentalist.
In addition to this Tradeplast
Ltd. has established a plastic industry branch, basing for a very strong
technical knowledge. This branch manufactures agricultural films in different
width, valved bags with bottom, raschel bags, and besides wide range of
plastic products. This plastic industry activity had been operating as an
independent company under the name of Uniplast Plastic Processing Ltd. till
the end of 2003.
The Uniplast Ltd. was established
to supply the demand for agricultural films in Hungary. Due to the later
market’s requirements and well-founded market research, the company has
started the manufacturing of Polyethylene bags. At present these products are
also produced besides the continuous orders. Thanks to the unbroken
developing, the production structure covers the manufacturing of successful
SOLAR agricultural film, the Polyethylene, Polypropylene and Raschel products
at the moment.
As a result of the continuous
developing and the well-evolved market strategy, the Uniplast Ltd. was one of
the leader company on the field of plastic industry till its fusion with
Tradeplast Ltd.
The preparatory efforts for the
union of 2 companies have been started in 2003 already, and officially they
have been working as Albatross PLASTUNION PCo. since 09. Januray 2004. The Albatross PLASTUNION PCo. is a legal
successor of the 2 predecessor companies, and due to the union it can be
present on the market as a capital-strong company with its increased property
and with wide range of production activities.
Successfully operating of
Tradeplast Ltd. and Uniplast Ltd. is proved that by the fusion the company
has become the largest employer of the region and as a worklplace it means
positive perspective to the employees of the area.
The established corporation is
working in divisional form, keeping the production structures and strength of
the 2 predecessor companies.
In consequence of wide range of
production activities and capital-increasing, the business plans of the
strengthened company show the futer of Albatross PLASTUNION PCo. certain and
stabil.
Meanwhile our company has
bought the plant of Pannónia Szőrme Co. in Kunszentmárton, which includes a
13.000 squere metre hall and due to the independent infrastructure it can be
starter of further developing possibilities.
In May of 2004 we won the
„Enterprise of the Year” title from the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Chamber
of Commerce and Industry, which appreciation confirmed us that we are on the
right way and we have to work with indiminished energy, enthusiasm and with
precision also in the future.
